01 / What This Is

Not a daycare.
Not a gym.
The most valuable 3 hours of your kid's day.

Between the bell and pickup, most kids lose the day to screens and snack tables. Ours gain a habit that changes them.

Homework fights at home

Homework Hour is supervised and quiet. Most kids finish before you pick them up.

Real martial arts, every day

Not glorified recess. A full coached class with belt progression, drills, and character work.

031

Trusted adult, not a sitter

Background-checked instructors who know your kid's name, mood, and goals by week two.

02 / A Day In The Program

The same predictable rhythm. Every single day.

Kids thrive on structure. Here's exactly what happens from bell to pickup — five focused blocks, coached start to finish.

Structured, supervised quiet time. Kids get help staying on task so you're not fighting the homework battle after dinner.

Homework done.
Energy spent.
Confidence built.

03 / What They Walk Away With

Skills that show up at school, home, and life.

Martial arts is the vehicle. Character is the destination. Every afternoon is engineered to build a specific set of lifelong tools.

  • Confidence that shows up at school, not just on the mat
  • Focus and follow-through under real pressure
  • Respect for teachers, parents, teammates, and self
  • Leadership skills — many students grow into junior coaches
  • Physical fitness, coordination, and time off screens
  • A tribe of friends who cheer each other on

04 / Transportation

We handle the pickup. You skip the line.

For every school on our route, our team pulls up in a marked Star Martial Arts vehicle, checks your child in with school staff, and drives them straight to the dojo. No car line. No middle-school parking-lot chaos. No calling out of work early.

  • Marked, insured Star Martial Arts vehicles
  • Trained, background-checked staff drivers
  • Direct check-in with your child's school at dismissal
  • Real-time notification if a route is delayed
  • Vehicles maintained on a strict service schedule
  • Booster seats available on request

07 / What Parents Say

Real families. Real changes at home.

"We were nervous enrolling our son — he'd never been in a structured program. From day one, he loved it. Now he asks every morning, 'Is today an after-school day?' He's more confident, more focused, and genuinely happy here."

Hector & Maria Gorman

Sebastian's parents

"My son had always been shy and struggled to make friends. After starting the After-School Program, everything changed. He's more outgoing, more confident, and always talking about the friends he's made. So proud of how far he's come."

A note from the owner

Your child is in great hands.

When you enroll with us, you're not handing your child off — you're handing them up. Every kid in this program gets coached, seen, and pushed to grow. That's the promise.

08 / Questions Parents Ask

The important stuff.

Is this a daycare?+

No. We're a structured martial arts after-school program. Every afternoon has a defined rhythm — pickup, snack, homework, class, games — with trained instructors, not babysitters.

Which schools do you pick up from?+

Between our West and North Gainesville locations we cover most local elementary and several middle schools. See the coverage list below — and if your school isn't listed, call us. Routes are added regularly.

What happens on early-dismissal days?+

You're covered. Early-dismissal days are included at no extra charge — we run a bonus martial arts camp instead of a shortened afternoon.

What about teacher work days and school closures?+

Full-day camps are included on scheduled school-closed days. Same trusted staff, same facility, no extra logistics for you.

How much homework help will my child actually get?+

Homework Hour is supervised and quiet — not a free-for-all. Instructors help kids stay on task and answer questions. Most kids leave with their work done, so evenings at home aren't a fight.

How do I get started?+
